Vol. 1 Ch. 2 P. 25
Writing and photography: Together, they make nudity an art.
The photographer strips away layers of his subjects to bare their beauty.
The writer strips away her own layers to bare her soul.

Oh, thank you!!!
I am intrigued that your words describe a male photographer and a female writer.
I wonder if you are trying to make a broader point about gender?
David
Maybe, maybe not. Ah, we’ll never know, won’t we?
This is fascinating! I love the words accompanying the picture, brilliant!
And now I know how to see the words too, that’s great.
Well done on your first month, it has been very successful and here’s to many, many more!
Christine
Thanks, Christine!
Here’s to years of blogging for all of us!
I love how you make use of juxtapositions both on the text and on the photo..
Another great entry. Happy 1st month!

Thanks, Sumi!
Do you take all of the photos yourself? I think “The Background Story” may be composed of a team? How does this work? Please give me the skinny! In any case great post. =)
We’re a small team of four friends. Two writers, two photographers. Our roles don’t change within the team (but maybe in the future, who knows). There is way you can tell who writes what line and who takes what photo. We indicate that in every post, though it’s not very obvious.
Damn, I wish I could think of sotmhenig smart like that!
This photo is so intriguing; I had to visit straight away to read the words (only the pic shows up in the email). And the words are both unexpected and brilliant. I particularly like ‘make nudity an art’ in this context, with the explanatory following sentences. I love the composition of the pic and the expression and posture of the boy.
Thank you, BH!
We really appreciate your feedback.
This set is special to us because it’s our blog’s first month.
Btw, the text does show up with the photo in subscriber emails, but you don’t see it because our font is white. You can highlight the area beneath the photo in your inbox to see the text. My personal email address is subscribed to this blog, and I was baffled why the text wasn’t showing up. I discovered it by accident.
